We are former Nigerian Dwarf goat farmers and first began making soap using the milk from our herd. We sold our Limington farm (Bending Birch Farm) in September 2020 and our herd now resides at Honey Brook Farm in Garland, Maine. We still maintain ownership of a few of our favorite girls and they keep us supplied with plenty of milk! Because of our hands-on experience with the benefits of goat milk soap for our skin, we choose to specialize in GOAT MILK SOAP and spread the goodness. We now handcraft our cold processed soap & lotion in our studio, located in a revitalized historic mill building in the seaside town of Biddeford, Maine. The studio is open by appointment. You can find us at different craft shows and Farmers markets around Southern Maine. We also teach soap making in small, supervised classes.

Welcome to where the magic happens! Since selling the farm, my studio is where Maine Seaside Soap is based. It's located in the seaside town of Biddeford, Maine in a revitalized old mill building on the Saco River. I love the light that pours in from the oversized windows and the exposed brick wall & original hardwood floors. The mill buildings are now home to many small businesses like me, including artists, restaurants & bars.
I don't have any set studio hours but would be happy to make an appointment with you if you're in the area. Just drop me a note through the CONTACT page. I often host open studio hours near the holidays. Periodically, I offer soap making classes here as well. Check back here often or sign up for the newsletter to be sure you don't miss out.

Here is our new logo. We love the simplicity & feel like it says it all. The deep blue says we are located in a seaside town in Maine where we handcraft our products in small batches. The wavy line represents the ocean waves.

We had so much joy… working with our herd at our lovely farm here in Maine, learning to make all the fabulous products with the milk and creating a wonderful business! Being able to have our farm open to the public to enjoy all the goats and their new babies, attend soap making classes, purchase our products, and simply share in our experience as we learned and grew was the best part! We met so many wonderful people and have created a loyal following which keeps me motivated to get up each day and make new creations!
After having two knee surgeries, I was unable to keep up with the physical work required to properly maintain the herd. After three years as goat farmers, we knew we had to hand over the reins to younger, stronger, farmers to ensure the best care of our herd!! That’s where Honey Brook Farm enters the story!! Nancy, Matt, Anna and Tucker expressed a desire to purchase our goats as a complete herd. My desire was always to keep my girls together. They now happily reside at Honey Brook Farm in Garland where we visit as much as we can and still maintain some ownership of the herd to allow the milk to continue flowing!!
NEW Chapter: We are reimagining the business after making this big change & have decided to pare down the products we make. Julie continues making goat milk products - Soap, Lotion, Lotion Bars, & lip balms. You can find her at work in her studio at 2 Main Street, Bldg 15-212 in Biddeford, Maine. The shop is open for customers by appointment, during special events and Holidays.
